How to Create Your First Application in Autorun

Learn how to create your business application in Autorun using simple text prompts. This tutorial takes you from zero to a usable app in just a few minutes.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  1. An active Autorun AI account at: Autorun AI

  2. A general idea of what business process you want to automate

  3. Any existing data or workflows you want to reference

Overview

In this guide, you will learn:

  • How to start a new application from scratch

  • How to describe your app using natural language

  • How to review and confirm the proposed structure

  • How to let Mileva build the app automatically

Time to complete: 5 minutes

Info: This is the fastest way to start building internal tools, databases, and workflows without coding. Perfect for anyone who wants to create business applications quickly and skip complex setup.

1. Start the App Builder

  • Log in to your Autorun dashboard.

  • Click New Application.

  • The onboarding screen will open. This is where you describe what kind of app you want.

a) If you know what you want

Write a clear, detailed description of the app.

Example:

“I want a business management app that centralizes everything we do. I need a client database, sales pipeline, service requests, quotes, invoices, and a simple reporting dashboard. The app should automate reminders, status updates and repetitive admin tasks. I want to reduce spreadsheets and have all the information in one place.”

Pro Tip: The more specific you are about your needs, the better Autorun can tailor the application. Include field names, workflows, and any specific business rules.

b) If you are not sure what you want

Write a short description of what your company does and click Please Suggest. Mileva will propose a full app structure for you.

Example:

“I need an app for a real estate company.”

What gets created and when

Always

App shell + permissions + 1 initial page:

  • A basic app frame with navigation and layout.

  • Default permission model.

  • At least one starting page you can build on.

In most cases

Tables + lists + forms:

  • Database tables based on the entities in your prompt.

  • List views to browse records.

  • Detail and form views to create and edit records.

Only when you ask for it

Automations + dashboards + complex UI components:

  • Workflows, reminders, status changes, and automations.

  • Dashboards with charts and KPIs.

  • More advanced UI patterns (kanban, calendars, etc.) if they are clearly requested.

Never unless you specify

Integrations + custom code + extremely specific business logic:

  • No automatic integrations with external systems (Stripe, Gmail, ERPs, etc.).

  • No raw custom code generation.

  • No ultra-specific edge-case rules unless you configure them manually.

2. Describe Your Application

Mileva may ask one or more follow-up questions for clarification. Answer briefly. She uses your answers to shape the exact app structure.

Naming your application

Mileva will ask for the name of your company or app.

Example:

“BluePeak Services”

3. Review the Proposed Structure

Mileva will show you the list of pages, features, and components she plans to create.

a) If something is missing

Add it now or adjust the names and structure so they match your process.

b) If everything looks correct

Click Sounds great to confirm.

Pro Tip: If you don't know the structure, describe pain points Mileva is better at generating apps when you explain the problem instead of guessing technical terms.

4. Build the Application

Click on the AI Build button.

Mileva will generate your entire application automatically based on your prompt and answers. This usually takes about 2 minutes.

5. Your Application Is Ready

When the build is finished:

  • Your app is fully generated and functional.

  • You can open it and start exploring the pages and flows.

From here, you can customize the interface, add new pages and connect your real data.

Your first application in Autorun is now ready to use.
